Ashurst Wood Pondless Waterfall

Set on a natural slope that used to be a Sandstone Quarry years ago, we carved this 5x2m Pondless Waterfall into the hillside.

We situated the origin point of the waterfall behind some large shrubs, giving the appearance that this stream starts right at the top of the garden. With a number of drops, pools and cascades facing key windows and seating areas throughout the garden, the waterfall is enjoyed all year round.

The inclusion of 9 LED lights means this feature can be enjoyed from all those key vantage points late into the evening.

Construction

The construction of this project took us 2 weeks, unfortunately, due to access we were unable to use a digger, so the reservoir was hand dug and 7 Tons of Yorkstone boulders were all hand placed.
